UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OVER THE REGION TODAY WITH MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES AND WARM TEMPERATURES. AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL BE APPROACHING THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST LATER TUESDAY. THE MAIN IMPACT WILL BE INCREASING WESTERLY WINDS IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THIS SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. THIS WILL BRING COOLER TEMPERATURES, BREEZY WESTERLY WINDS AND A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS.
